Ioana Enescu

Reiki Practitioner Systemic Coach & Yoga Teacher

Weaving Body and Mind is about helping people tune into themselves – body, mind, and everything in between. Through a mix of coaching, Reiki, Yin yoga and self-care techniques, we work on clearing the noise: old patterns, tension held too long, the beliefs that keep you small. It’s not about becoming someone new, just making space for who you already are. Stress and trauma don’t only live in the mind; they settle in the nervous system, in the body, in the way we move through the world. That’s why I work on both levels. Coaching helps us look at what surrounds us: every action we take, every decision we make, where we place our energy. Reiki softens the hold of past stress on the present and clears space for something lighter. Yin yoga brings us back inside, into the body, where so much of what we carry is held. Healing isn’t a straight line. Some days feel lighter, others pull you under. But when you start paying attention – to what your body holds, to the stories your mind tells you, to the energy shifting around you – things begin to change. You move differently. Breathe easier. Make choices that feel like yours.

Who is this for

Anyone who wants to reconnect with their body and get clearer about their life can benefit from this work. You may feel drawn to it if you are looking for support with:

Stress & burnout: slowing down, calming the nervous system, and restoring energy after a long period of running on empty.

Career change & growth: untangling what you want next, and making decisions that feel like your own rather than someone else’s.

Rebuilding after addiction: finding steadiness, new routines, and a kinder relationship with yourself.

Pain held in the body: understanding the emotional and physical connections behind tension or pain that hasn’t shifted.

Feeling stuck or disconnected: looping thoughts, old patterns, and the stories you tell yourself about who you are.

Coming home to your body: learning to listen to what your body needs, through stillness, touch and gentle movement.

Whether you are facing a specific challenge or simply want to feel more grounded and present, you are welcome here.

Why work together

To gain depth: A deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions, and the patterns shaping your life.

To listen to your body: Tuning into your body’s needs and messages to cultivate balance and well-being.

To get more clarity: A clearer perspective on your thoughts and emotions, so you can move forward with confidence.

To understand your pain: Insight into the root causes of pain and the connections that can guide you toward healing.

To find balance: Greater harmony between mind, body and spirit, and the tools to maintain it.

To feel less disconnected: Feeling more present, grounded and in control of your mental and physical well-being.

What to expect in a session

Sessions last approximately 60 minutes. For lasting change, I recommend starting with a series of three sessions – energy and patterns take time to shift, and regular sessions give the process room to unfold.

REIKI

We begin by talking about your goals, your pains, maybe your blockages. Then the session begins: you remain fully clothed, lying comfortably, while I gently place my hands over key energy points. Many people feel warmth, tingling, or a deep sense of calm. Sessions can also be done at a distance.

COACHING

A structured conversation where we start with where you are now – what’s on your mind, what feels stuck. Then we explore what’s behind it: the habits, beliefs, or outside factors shaping your decisions. Finally we look at ways forward. No forced positivity, no quick fixes, no advice – just space to reflect, shift, and see things differently. Between sessions you’ll have a small practice to carry with you.

REIKI & COACHING COMBINED

Reiki works to clear emotional and energetic blocks, while coaching gives you tools to navigate challenges with clarity and confidence. Together they support meaningful shifts in mindset, relationships, or life direction.

YIN YOGA

Slow, grounding poses held for several minutes, with gentle exercises to calm the nervous system. Yin teaches what the body often asks for: to slow down, stay with what’s there, and listen.

Afterwards, take a moment to rest and integrate. Some people feel deeply relaxed, others energised – both are natural. Drink plenty of water and give the effects time to unfold over the following hours and days.

“From the very first session, I felt a deep sense of relaxation and inner peace. The energy work was gentle yet powerful, and I could feel a noticeable shift in my stress levels and overall well-being.”

ROXANA, REIKI CLIENT

About me

My name is Ioana. I’m a Reiki practitioner & teacher, systemic coach and Yin Yoga teacher, based in Amsterdam and originally from Romania.

For a long time, I carried pain in my body, and nothing seemed to help. I kept searching for answers – doctors, treatments, anything that might fix it – but I never turned inward. Eventually I started reading about pain: how we store it, how it shapes both mind and body. I tried different therapies, worked with a coach, then with a Reiki practitioner. Something shifted, and I wanted to understand more – not just for myself, but so I could help others too.

I trained in Reiki up to Shinpiden Level III, became a certified coach in the Netherlands, and later my own yoga practice grew into teaching. Yin taught me what my body had been asking for all along: to slow down, stay with what’s there, and listen.

Reiki is what I return to most. Rei means universal, Ki means energy – the life force that moves through us. My approach is intuitive and compassionate, guiding each session toward balance, clarity and deep restoration. We all need a bit of guidance to see more clearly, move with intention, and feel at home in our bodies. That is what I want to help you do.
