What does a Conscious Connected Breathwork session look like?

Each session is a journey into your inner world through the power of your breath. Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) is a gentle yet transformative technique that supports emotional release, deep relaxation, and a sense of inner clarity. By consciously connecting the inhale and exhale in a continuous rhythm, the body can enter an expanded state of awareness where old patterns, emotions, and tension may surface and dissolve.

Sessions are held in a safe, grounded space, allowing you to reconnect with your body and breath at your own pace. Music is used to guide the experience and deepen the journey. Some people feel energized and alive afterward, while others feel calm and centered — every session is unique.

Please wear warm, comfortable clothing, bring water, and avoid heavy meals for at least 1.5 hours before your session. The breathwork is typically done lying down, with blankets and cushions to support full-body relaxation.

1:1 Session Flow

1. Check-In

We start with a personal conversation to explore your current emotional state, set intentions, and address any questions or concerns. This helps us define a focus or topic for your session.

2. Introduction & Warm-Up

You’ll receive a clear explanation of the CCB technique, including how it works, what to expect, and how to breathe. A short warm-up prepares your body and mind.

3. Main Practice

You’ll be guided through a conscious connected breathing cycle using continuous, open-mouth breathing. The experience is supported by music and includes brief breath holds to deepen the process and support emotional release or integration.

 4. Integration

You’ll rest in Shavasana (lying still) to allow your body and mind to settle. This period of stillness often brings emotional clarity or insight. Music instruments, gong, scents and tuning forks can be included to enhance your integration.

5. Closing & Psychological Check-Out

We finish with a short closing conversation to reflect on your experience, integrate insights, and support grounding.

 Group Session Flow

1. Welcome & Technique Introduction

The group session begins with a short welcome and a collective introduction to the Conscious Connected Breathwork technique. You’ll learn about the breathing rhythm, physical sensations, and emotional responses you might experience.

2. Main Practice

You’ll be guided through the breathwork journey in a group setting, accompanied by music. Everyone breathes at their own pace, while being held in a shared energetic space. Breath holds are included and guided during the session.

3. Integration

After the active breathing, the group rests in Shavasana to integrate the experience in stillness, accompanied by sounds and scents.

4. Optional Sharing Circle

At the end of the session, we may open a sharing circle. This is an optional space where participants can briefly express or name what they experienced. There is no pressure to share—your presence is enough.

Please note: In group sessions, we do not engage in individual check-ins or personal follow-ups.

Contraindications

It is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, have epilepsy, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, glaucoma (increased intraocular pressure), clinical anxiety or panic attacks, psychosis, a history of stroke, or recent surgery (e.g. wounds or fractures still healing).
